Founded by Russ and Mary Raney in 1986, Evesham Wood became a leader in producing Burgundian style Pinot Noir in Oregon. In the 2000’s they started working with Erin Nuccio of Haden Fig. One thing led to another, and in 2010 Erin and his wife Jordan took ownership of Evesham Wood. Today they continue the same quest for quality wines on an artisanal scale.
They produce wine from their estate vineyards and purchased fruit. The estate vineyard ‘Le Puits Sec’ covers 12.5 acres, and was certified organic in 2000. In 2002 the winery was certified organic as well. The purchased fruit comes from Mahonia, Illahe and Temperance Hill, three of the finest sites in Oregon.
