Iconic Wine founder Birk O'Halloran has worked just about every job one can think of in the wine business. Over his years in distribution, importing, portfolio management, hospitality, and retail (even physically building a trio of wine shops!), and finally winemaking, he has learned a few things about what makes wine lovers tick. With Iconic, the goal is to produce affordable, every-day wines that express California sensibility but with more restraint than those pricey and familiar names that adorn the Cali shelves of big box stores. Having apprenticed under both California and European winemakers, he's able to do just that. His wines are fruit driven, always fresh, and unapologetically "dogma free," as he puts it: a recipe for mainstays and house pours.
