Vignobles Despagne is a family firm of winegrowers, established in the Bordeaux region for over 250 years. Today they own 5 Châteauxs, over 300 ha of prime vineyard, which produce and sell 150,000 cases of wine each year. The team of 4 oenologists and engineers in agronomy, with consulting oenologist Michel ROLLAND, make high-profile wines sold throughout the world. In 1997, they became the first French growers to receive ISO 9002 accreditation for management systems, extended in 1999 to plant-health and pest-control in the vineyard. They are now working towards the environmental standard ISO 14000 and have developed brand awareness and press recognition in European markets through consistent quality, professional teamwork and innovative strategies.
